56: If I could meet anyone on this earth, who would it be?
I’m going to rule out the Big Three: David Bowie, Jeff Bridges and Sir Christopher Lee. I love them more than anything, but it would be a “Troy meets LeVar Burton in Community” situation if I ever met any of them. After those three, it’d be Jon Richardson, who I have already met. So I suppose I’ll go for Paul McDermott, because he is wonderful, and it is also unlikely considering he is in Australia.
138: What was my favourite toy as a child?
I’m not sure if it was my favourite toy back then, but it’s certainly the most important. On the day I was born, my nan bought me a Pooh Bear teddy. Winnie the Pooh went on to be the thing that made me love reading and writing, which only my nan shared my passion for in our family. Now nan’s gone, but I still have that Pooh Bear on my bed, and if I do end up having kids, it’ll be passed down to them.
LESS SENTIMENTAL ANSWER: I had a Miami Vice dress-up kit, even though neither of my parents ever watched Miami Vice.
